Danish Eatery
We combine the best of Danish cuisine with the freshness of Mediterranean ingredients to offer you a unique gastronomic experience. Our passion is born from the daily rediscovery of the finest local produce, adapting to each season and perfecting traditional recipes.
About Us
Our History
Founded in 1984, Rottehullet has witnessed decades of culinary evolution, always preserving the essence of Danish tradition.
Rottehullet is a name rooted in history. It means “rat hole” in Danish. And yes, it might sound strange at first; but in Denmark, this word is part of the country’s culture. The original Rottehullet location is now a museum and part of Danish heritage.
At our restaurant, we’ll share that history with you and unveil all the details of Danish culture — told first-hand by our chef.
Our Philosophy
Sustainability guides our decisions: we are committed to responsible practices and prioritize local and seasonal ingredients. Hospitality is our hallmark: we welcome every guest as part of our family, ensuring a warm and memorable experience.
